Aline Mujawamariya

Community Healing Outreach Coordinator

Uwamariya Aline is the Community Healing Outreach Coordinator at Ubuntu Center for Peace, where she leads efforts to expand community-based healing and strengthen outreach initiatives. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Clinical Psychology and a Master’s degree in Public Health with a specialization in International Health Development.

Aline has worked with several NGOs, including Never Again Rwanda, Save the Children International, gaining extensive experience leading community-based programs in Rwanda. With more than four years of experience at UCP, she has played a central role in organizing and facilitating training for Community Healing Assistants (CHAs), as well as mentoring both CHAs and their supervisors to ensure effective leadership and sustained community impact. She also holds a Level 2 certification in Breath-Body-Mind (BBM).

Aline is passionate about long-term social transformation. She believes that real, lasting change in trauma recovery happens within communities, where people live, connect, and heal together. She is inspired by the opportunity to create safe and inclusive spaces where individuals can restore hope, rebuild trust, and rise together. For her, this work is a life assignment rooted in commitment to community healing.
