Since its inception, Ubuntu Center for Peace has trained hundreds of Community Healing Assistants (CHAs) and School Healing Assistants (SHAs), equipping them to support thousands of individuals affected by trauma and mental health challenges.

Community Healing Impact

  • Many participants experience recovery from depression, anxiety, and PTSD, with notable reductions in interpersonal conflicts, school dropouts, and irregular school attendance.

School-Based Healing Impact

  • More than 150 SHAs trained, helping students navigate trauma and mental health struggles.

  • Thousands of high school students supported, with strong recovery rates from anxiety and social phobia.

  • Participants report significant improvements in overall well-being, emotional regulation, and school engagement.

Well-Being & Mental Health Outcomes

  • A marked decrease in poor well-being scores and a rise in individuals achieving high well-being.

  • Significant recovery rates from social anxiety, extreme anger, insomnia, and suicidal thoughts following interventions.
