Program Implementation Manager
Marie Louise is the Program Implementation Manager at Ubuntu Center for Peace (UCP). She oversees the planning, delivery, and evaluation of community healing programs, designs and facilitates training curricula for Community Healing Assistants (CHAs), and ensures high-quality, consistent program implementation across communities.
With over nine years of professional experience, Marie Louise is also a trained Group Analyst with expertise in trauma healing, counseling psychology, psychoeducation, family support, staff training, and both individual and group therapy. Prior to joining UCP, she worked with Hope for Life Ministry, Les Enfants de Dieu, and the Rwanda Local Administration, where she held diverse roles in program management, rehabilitation, and family counseling.
She holds a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology and a Bachelor’s degree in Clinical Psychology, alongside professional certifications in trauma-informed care, leadership, and group facilitation. Marie Louise is committed to empowering individuals and communities affected by trauma, helping them to build resilience, strengthen mental health, and foster peaceful and supportive relationships.
