IMPACT REPORT - 2024 - 2025

The 2024–2025 year has shown us what is possible when healing is rooted in community. With your support, Ubuntu Center for Peace reached 9,709 participants across Gasabo, Kamonyi, and Kirehe, helping families and communities break free from cycles of trauma and rediscover resilience, dignity, and hope.

Impact Report - 2023 - 2024

During the 2023-2024 financial year, Ubuntu Center for Peace expanded its community-based healing programs from Kamonyi to Kirehe District while also pioneering a transformative initiative at Groupe Scolaire de Kagugu (GSK), Rwanda’s largest high school. Our interventions addressed trauma-related mental health challenges—including depression, anxiety, and PTSD—as well as issues such as indiscipline, school dropouts, and substance abuse. Reaching thousands across both community and school settings, this report presents the profound impact of these efforts through a blend of quantitative data and personal testimonials.

Impact report 2021 - 2022

Between September 2021 and August 2022, Ubuntu Center for Peace expanded its community-based social healing model to Ruagrika and Nyamiyaga Sectors of Kamonyi District, to tackle trauma and other common mental challenges.
