Mr. Omar Zabulon Uwimana serves as a Community Healing Assistant Supervisor at the Ubuntu Center for Peace. As a dedicated Clinical Psychologist, he brings a unique combination of clinical expertise and community-based experience to his work. Omar served as a Data Manager at Cyivugiza Health Centre before taking on the role of Mental Health Officer at Kanyinya Medicalized Health Center, where he provided essential care and supported patients facing complex mental health challenges.
Currently, as a Community Healing Assistant Supervisor at Ubuntu Center for Peace, Omar channels his expertise into fostering resilience, guiding communities through healing, and empowering individuals on their journeys toward mental well-being. Omar has completed extensive specialized training in Breath-Body-Mind and is trained in Trauma Crisis Theory and Therapy, and Vicarious/ Secondary trauma and self-care.
